• Reporting the detailed course’s outlines of the subjects registered
• Discussing course outline content and sharing possibilities
• Agree on the implementation process and time
• Progress monitoring and product implementation
• Determine next steps
• Introduce of relevant facilities of CTU and their main activities

13 September 2020 The Welcoming and Orientation Day at Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL)

MIMET was conducted on 13th September 2020. It was attended by approximately 100 new 1st year students. The briefing was conducted by Lecturer and team member, Mrs Azila Ayub. The main contents of the briefing include the introduction of the UniKL campus as well as the introduction to the MARE that UniKL is part of.

Information about the project and Bachelor of Maritime Operation programme that will include the new courses that are being developed were also explained.

The event was made successful through collaboration between the Dean’s Office, Marketing Unit (MeSRA) and the Academic Services Section (AcSS).

15 – 16 June 2020 Methodological workshop

Online methodological workshop for training in the preparation of the module descriptions, syllabi and curricula in terms of Bologna tools

This online event is co-organised by the University of Bremen, Estonian University of Life Sciences and the University of Catania in order to facilitate the development and revision of courses adhering to the principles of the European Higher Education Space. It will include two session:

  • Lectures and workshops on curriculum development, learning, and assessment tools and solutions on June 15, 2020
  • Discussion of practical examples from MARE partners on June 16, 2020

Online methodological workshop for training in the preparation of the module descriptions, syllabi and curricula curricular in terms of  Bologna tools

The EU project partners organized online methodological workshop for training in the preparation of the module descriptions, syllabi and curricula curricular in terms of  Bologna tools.  The samples of the adequate formulations of learning outcomes, use of ESG and the ECTS were presented and discussed. The  template for the module description was prepared and descriptions of the modules were approved.
