15th October 2020 – UTM organized Round Table Discussion among MARE Malaysia Partners in conjunction with #ERASMUSDAYS
Purpose: To discuss the dissemination activities inlcuding MARE Online Seminar and stake holder engagement
Audience: Members of MARE Malaysia partners

Agenda and Minutes
MIMET was conducted on 13th September 2020. It was attended by approximately 100 new 1st year students. The briefing was conducted by Lecturer and team member, Mrs Azila Ayub. The main contents of the briefing include the introduction of the UniKL campus as well as the introduction to the MARE that UniKL is part of.
Information about the project and Bachelor of Maritime Operation programme that will include the new courses that are being developed were also explained.
The event was made successful through collaboration between the Dean’s Office, Marketing Unit (MeSRA) and the Academic Services Section (AcSS).

15th May 2020 – Members of MARE presented as keynote lecture in International Webinar: World Energy Challenge in COVID19 Pandemics and Unstable Oil Price
Purpose:
- To discuss the potential of marine renewable energy as a solution to the current landscape of oil industry
- To collect the information related with the course development and content revision

On 6th of February 2020, during Session 1, Dr. Shaharin has invited new team members from Mechanical Engineering Department (ME), Petroleum Engineering Department (PE), and Civil and Environmental Engineering Department (CVE) to present on the newly awarded international Erasmus project, Marine Coastal and Delta Sustainability for Southeast Asia (MARE). Dr. Shaharin introduced the involved organization partners, background, objectives, duration and expected outcomes of the project. He also shared the information on the potential courses that would be beneficial and related to the theme of MARE.
